Kids are going to be attracted to the cute little red tomatoes. The best part is that although this is such a simple salad, these ingredients are full of nutrients. Tomatoes are high in Vitamin C and also have fair amounts of Vitamin A and B, including calcium. They are also a good source of folate, fiber and chromium.
Cucumbers contain small amounts fiber, minerals and vitamins. They are very low in kilojoules.
This salad also complements a rich dish such as macaroni and cheese or cauliflower au gratin.
